The curtain has already closed on the first performance of  “Out on a Limb”, DHS Drama Department’s final performance of the year. After a generally smooth debut, the performers aim to maintain a high level of energy for the remaining shows.

The performance last Friday had “a couple of places where things didn’t go completely smoothly, such as actors forgetting one or two lines, but the energy and dedication was so high that the show went on,” sophomore Christine Alexander said.

The actors have been working this week to “refresh people’s memories and fix mistakes” from last week, sophomore Bryce Vaewsorn said.

“Out on a Limb” actors began rehearsing in the theater a just last week.

“I think that will be one of our largest challenges for the rest of this week—keeping the quick pace of the show, especially since the performances are on school nights and during AP exam week,” Alexander said.

The last three shows are on May 5, 6 and 7 at 7pm in the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for adults.
