STAR testing at Davis High sees improvement in participation

Every year, the state of California asks its students to take the standardized test known as STAR. Though this test is not mandatory, only 22 students chose to not take the exam, a marked improvement from previous years. Teachers who have decided not to write college recommendations for students who opt-out may be the reason for the change.
