Vandalism on the first day of school

Students arrive for their first day of school on Aug. 28 to find the glass on the office door shattered. Custodians quickly clean up the bits and pieces of glass littering the ground and place yellow caution tape over the hole in the door.

Information regarding replacement and repair costs are uncertain at this point and will be provided in the near future.

Students found more vandalism near the P-building. The ground was spray painted blue and red, and included messages to music classes. Some of the phrases were “Happy first day of JC!” and “Have a good day Mr. Zinn!” The spray paint has already been cleaned up and painted over to match the color of the ground.
