Crowds of juniors and sophomores will be swarming into the North gym on Feb. 11 to hear from this year’s candidates for the student government elections.

“It takes a lot of guts and preparation for the candidates to get in front of everyone and talk about their goals for the school, so make sure you take time to listen to them and vote,” ASB Vice President Tara Mullen said.

“We’re piloting an absentee ballot process so if people aren’t going to be on Thursday and Friday when we do vote, they can come to me ahead of time, they’ll come to me ahead of time. I’ll check them off on a list and I can get them a ballot so they can turn it in anytime before Friday,” Student Government Coordinator Eric Morgan said.

Morgan mentioned that ASk will also be piloting a second day of voting. They will be doing ballots at lunch and after school on Thursday and all throughout Friday, so students can come to C-4 if they want to cast a ballot.
