Interested in publishing your artistic work? Spoke Literary and Art Magazine accepts student submissions of artwork (paintings, sketches, sculpture, etc.), music (lyrics and music notes), writing (creative nonfiction, prose, and poetry), and photography. This first issue’s theme, which will be published on Dec. 12, will be “adolescence”.

Spoke is being restarted after last being published in the 1990s. This creative niche provides an outlet for all the students at Davis High who requested a creative writing class, or are interested in an art class but did not have time on their schedule. Regardless of whether or not you are in an art class, the chance to start your publishing career as a student is a valuable opportunity. Submit to spokesubmissions100@gmail.com by Sept 29.
