It’s been 10 years since the first Iron Man movie came out and it seems that the movies since the first Avengers movie have been foreshadowing and leading up to “Avengers: Infinity war.” And boy, did the movie provide.

With a star studded cast and some excellent acting overall the movie was a hit despite the pressure of its predecessors, most recently with Black Panther’s box office currently around 15 billion.

However, just being out this opening weekend, it has already making 280 million domestically and 630 million worldwide. And you can only expect it to rise.

The first half of the movie was full of laughs similar to Marvel’s recent movies “Spider-Man Homecoming,” “Thor Ragnarok” and “Black Panther.”The movie was full of funny quirks from the likes of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr and Benedict Cumberbatch.

One of the challenges with this movie is that you have small groups of heroes scattered all over the universe trying to defeat the villain Thanos (Josh Brolin), some of them not even meeting one another.

Yet, the skillful directing of Anthony and Joe Russo keeps the storyline straightforward and that does not lose you even with the fast and action paced movie.

The first half of the movie was action filled as the whole movie was and then after a couple plot twists and a surprising reveal, the movie took a darker turn. In that portion of the movie, all I will suggest without completely spoiling is that you’ll need tissue.

In order to fully enjoy the movie, one must do some prep to keep up with the action. Watching movies, such as “Captain America: Civil War,” “Doctor Strange” and “Thor Ragnarok” gives you the background of the characters and some of the necessary setting.

Overall, this action filled movie is amazing but some of it is hard to follow because of the speed. Even with watching plenty of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and reading a couple comic books, watching the movie one more time might be a good idea.
