The end of high school signifies in the minds of many students the end of their adolescent lives, and some have activities that they want to accomplish before they graduate.

Some DHS seniors have immediate goals that that they need to achieve quickly with their short amount of time left in Davis.

Senior Meaghan Murphey has always wanted to eat at every single restaurant in Davis, just not all at once.

Senior Yasmin Kouchesfahani wants to “try to get my friends rad graduation gifts and stay present each day with so few days left.”

Senior Brett Bloomfield wants to take advantage of the Davis facilities one last time coupled with some adventure.

“I wanna rock jump from a 50-foot-plus rock into water,” Bloomfield said. “I also wanna go to Spain and I would love to go bowling one last time at the MU before I leave for college.”

Senior Brooke Palmer also wants to have an adventure before she leaves Davis.

“I want to sneak into Schaal Pool.” Palmer said.

Some seniors have bucket list items with friends, like seniors Ari Yeung, Levi Hubbard and Alek Hernes.

“[Hubbard, Hernes and I] want to go hiking, fishing, frisbee golfing and [do] a drive-in movie night” Yeung said.

Sophomores and juniors also have a wide range of activities on their high school bucket lists.

“I want to have met every girl’s parents of the class of 2015,” junior Matt Meyers said. “That would be awesome.”

Junior Eugene Long has a longer list that he hopes to accomplish before graduation, and expects the list to grow in the future.

“Man…” Long said. “I’d like to backpack the whole Lost Coast Trail, start playing the guitar again, win a volleyball playoff game, [and] find a job somewhere.”

Sophomore Sophie Seng also has a long list of activities that she hopes to accomplish in the next few years before graduation.

“Well, I want to go skydiving,” Seng said. “Run a half marathon, eat the biggest ice cream at Fentons, go to a Sonny Rollins concert, see the Northern Lights, go to New Orleans, compose a song, eat alligator meat…and many more that I can’t think of!”
