The Davis High Renaissance Awards recognize students who improved themselves during their time on campus. Senior Albert Eilert was an award recipient this year, after turning around his GPA from below a 1.0 sophomore year to a perfect 4.0 this year.
Like many Davis High seniors, Adriana Jimenez and Yulissa Perez just received their college acceptance letters. But these girls have an additional reason to celebrate. Jimenez and Perez are the first members of their families to attend college in the United States. Josh Kirkland has the story, which was co-produced by Lily Holmes.
For the annual Davis High car show on May 28, folks came for all across the city to showcase their wheels. Students voted on their favorite cars, the results of which have yet to be announced.
