Homecoming week ended with a wave of blue as Davis High students showed their Blue Devil pride. Freakishly Blue Friday proved to be a hit, as students flaunted blue face paint, socks, jerseys, shorts, bandanas, makeup and even hair.

Students from all grades participated in the spirit days, seeing it as a fun way to get involved with Homecoming.

“I dressed up today because it was fun and I wanted to take part in the high school,” sophomore Anna Sanchirico said.

Some students didn’t participate in Friday’s spirit day, but those in blue made sure to mention their lack of spirit day décor.

“It looks really lame if you don’t [wear blue],” sophomore Autumn Marcheschi said.

Some seniors are going all out on spirit days for their final year of high school.

“I dressed up because I feel like it’s my senior year and I should be doing all this fun stuff,” senior Marcela Cardenas said.
