Senior Carsen Quick’s penalty kick in the first five minutes of the game was enough to hand the Davis High men’s soccer team a 1-0 win against Woodland High the evening of Dec. 11.

Senior Iain Smith had broken the Wolves’ line of defense and secured a foul inside the box, giving Quick the opportunity to light up the scoreboard. The Devils stayed strong the rest of the game and kept Woodland scoreless.

The Devils have played five preseason games this year and have a 3-2 record so far, with Tuesday’s victory marking their third win in a row.
